    Hi Daryl,

This usually happens when the remote Windows machine does not have a physical mouse attached. If you attach a physical mouse to the machine, it should fix the issue.

Update: it's pretty consistent every time I resize a window it happens, but I did find if I move the window after resizing it I get my normal mouse back.

Oh, yeah I don't have access to the remote PC, it lives in a cloud.

The problem of the cursor remaining on the resize icon after a window resize has been resolved in the Windows settings.
Go to Settings→Ease of Access→Mouse, and turn on Mouse Keys.
At the same time as this problem, the custom cursor in windows was not working on the iPad, but that was also resolved.
I had a problem with the cursor not showing up in Parsec and the following troubleshooting had a positive impact on JumpDesktop.

The Ease of Access settings fixed this for me! Excellent advice.
