reconnecting after Mac sleep

I've noticed that, once my MacBook sleeps, Jump Desktop Connect does not reconnect to the server when the MacBook wakes.  Instead, it says "Connecting to Jump Desktop's cloud service..."  It says this indefinitely.  

The only way I can work around this is to shut down the app on my MacBook and restart it.  Obviously, that defeats the purpose of remote access...
