Multi user connection
Hi,
Trying to do a remote video watching between two users and a remote server. I'm am trying with the following setup.
Remote system: 2021 iMac 24 (JumpDesktop Connect is running on this system).
Local System 1: MacBook Pro 2020 (Paid Mac OS JumpDesktop client) on Mac OS Monterey and Lenovo Thinkpad running Windows 10 and is using the free JumpDesktop Windows Client.
Network 1Gbps Wired Lan. All the users and the systems are in the same local lan with wired connections.
User accounts : individual user accounts (free) for two users. Both users are added to the remote host (Mac OS Monterey) for connectivity.
While trying to watch a video either by playing a local video using VLC or by watching any video on Youtube, the frames (fps) and audio stutter and there is noticable disruption / break in the screen refresh and audio.
Tried all the client settings such as 60FPS/30FPS/15FPS, all available maximum network bandwidth options and basic troubleshooting steps.
No matter whatever be the settings, if both the users are connected to the remote host, the audio / video stutters. Single user connectivity works without any issues and there is no fps lag or audio issues.
All the connections are in the same LAN but different physical locations (Even tried with the same network switch based local connections, but it does not work).
The ping response between all the systems is 1ms or 2ms.
Is there any settings at the Fluid protocol for multi user connectivity support without performance drop (latency and FPS) as listed in the website?
Is there any other setting that needs to be changed at the Host or Client?
Am I doing anything wrong?
Please let me know a solution for this issue and the steps for troubleshooting. Thank you.
