Wake-on-LAN stopped working, but manual WOL still works
Jump Desktop used to wake my Windows PC reliably, but it recently stopped working.
Manual Wake-on-LAN still works from both my phone and another computer on the same LAN, using the Intel adapter MAC, directed broadcast, and UDP port 9.
What I’ve tried:
Updated and reinstalled the Jump Desktop app and Jump Desktop Connect
Confirmed the PC is using the Intel I226-V Ethernet adapter
Enabled “Power On By PCI-E” in BIOS
Confirmed the Intel adapter is wake-armed in Windows
Confirmed Wake on Magic Packet is enabled
Disabled hibernate / Fast Startup while testing
Manual WOL works now, but Jump Desktop still does not wake the PC.
Is there any way to refresh Jump’s WOL settings or force it to re-detect the active network adapter? Could Jump be caching the old NIC/MAC or using a different WOL broadcast method?
