Same Mac mini M4 setup, different Jump Desktop resolutions

I remotely control two identical Mac mini M4s from the same Windows laptop using Jump Desktop.

Both Macs have the same macOS version, software, system settings, and identical Jump Desktop settings.

Yet:

  • Mac 1: displays almost full-screen on my 5120×1440 ultrawide monitor.

  • Mac 2: is stuck at 1600×1200, so it isn’t widescreen at all.

On Mac 2, “Show all resolutions” shows options up to 3200×2400, but I can’t select them.

Any idea why two identical setups behave so differently, or how to get Mac 2 to match Mac 1?

    No good ideas here. What's your monitor setup (qty and resolution), both on the client (Jump Desktop) and server (Mac Mini / JDC) side? Does `system_profiler SPDisplaysDataType` command show anything interesting, both when you're remoting to and local on the Minis?

    I had a similar-sounding issue where one of my twin 4K displays got stuck in a lower res mode that showed up as "Looks like 1600x1200" in that command. Then I fiddled with the resolutions until it read a true 3840x2160.
