File with password recovery

I recently got a new PC. I have a back up of my previous system. I'm trying to remotely help my mother-in-law troubleshoot a problem, but my new config doesn't have her password credential saved. Is there a way to replace that from a file backup?

If so, where are the files saved so I can replace them in my new machine.
