Key repeat
Hi,
I am using an iPad Pro 11inch from 2018 with iPadOS 15.7 Jump desktop connect 6.7.69 and the latest jump desktop ios app, with Apple's Magic keyboard. (Macbook: M1pro with 12.6 Montery)
I absolutely love Jump Desktop, it allows me to work on small things on the go without having to take my heavy macbook with me everywhere all the time!
One thing however, I code in iTerm+Neovim, sometimes Xcode with vim, and sometimes vscode vim enabled. Everything works just fine but one annoying thing, which is key repeating, which is actually really a must with vim, but I can imagine it would be a problem in other software as well. I hope it's just a wrong setting somewhere, but have been playing around a lot and cannot seem to find it.
Some keys do seem to repeat, which I find odd, such as space, . dot (and other special characters), and the arrow keys, but unfortunately the regular characters don't work (off which I need h, j, k and l the most obviously ;-) )
I found some issue here stating the same for WASD, but it is an older issue and the setup is different.
At first I thought it could be an iOS problem, but I also often use BlinkSH where I also program with neovim using a mosh connection, where the keys work just fine. (This works fine for CLI projects, but is of course extremely unhandy when working on web and native app projects...)
Did I miss something, or could this be a bug/missing feature?
Many thanks in advance,
Kai

This seems to point to the same issue in another app, it might be OS related, but workarounds should exist... https://github.com/ish-app/ish/issues/454

No it has not been resolved. I also have multiple keysend for more than one press of the same key which is really bad in video editing when the movie runs off by one keypress.
So "arrow right arrow right" does an "arrow right arrow right arrow right arrow right arrow right arrow right arrow right"
