Lag on iPad

I'm using an 11 inch iPad Pro 2nd generation to connect to my Windows 10 PC. The PC is connected over ethernet, but I am nevertheless experiencing lag when connecting using Fluid. The lag is present even when I am standing right next to the router and getting a 500 mbs connection speed on my iPad. As far as I know, I am running the newest software on both devices. Some help with troubleshooting would be much appreciated. Thanks!
