MacOS - Screen goes black every 20 seconds for 2 -10 seconds

Every 20 seconds the Jump Desktop screen goes black for 2 - 10 seconds. Unable to see the remote screen. 

Using the remote desktop is nearly unusable. 

Any ideas? 

No external monitors connected, lid is closed. (Native screen sharing works fine)

 

MacOS Ventura 13.0 to Ventura 13.0, same home network

Remote machine - Jump Desktop Connect. (downloaded 2022-11-07).  WiFi. 5G

Control machine  - Jump Desktop 8.8.28, wired 1Gbps connect

Internet connection > 250Mbps up and down.

  Looking at the remote system.log

  This pair of messages is getting logged on the remote machine.

  Prompted me to try opening the lid on the remote laptop.   The black screens stopped.   This might be ok for a temporary solution, but part of the desired behavior is that I can tuck the laptop way with the lid closed.
