Audio to remote is has no low-end, and seems phase-y

The audio to the remote clients is phase-y and has no low-end. The audio out of the headphones is totally fine. I've tried updating and reinstalling the audio driver (Windows 10, Synaptics HD Audio v 8.65.x). The local audio is muted so it wont play out of the host computer. I've tried disabling the local speaker in device manager but it doesnt seem to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

  Are the other host machines running on Windows?
  If so, you can install Virtual Audio Cable on those remote machines.

  this is happening for me as well on my mac. No low end audio, and a bit phase-y is a great descriptor.
