Mac keyboard shortcuts clash with iPad keyboard shortcuts

I have an external keyboard connected to my iPad, and some shortcuts don't work very well. For example, if I open a notepad on my iPad, press Shift + 2, "@" appears, which is normal behavior, but on the Mac (via remote screen) it doesn't. Also, some commands like ⌘ + TAB (switch programs) sometimes conflict with the iPad's system. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Using an iPad to remotely control a Macbook, both on version 18.
