Syncing between iPad and MacBook

I have Jump Desktop on my iPad and MacBook. But the MacBook version is not from the app store so I can't enable iCloud sync. Is there another way to get them to sync?

  Hi,

  We're about to release Jump Desktop 8.0 for Mac which will add iCloud support for the non-Mac App Store version. ETA is in less than a week from this comment.
