Odd behaviour & slow down if client left open

Using beta 6.3.29 jump desktop connect from a MBP using Version 8.5.0 (80500)

If I leave the client to my Mac Mini open overnight then I tend to get 1 of 2 issues.

1) it just wont respond and can't enter the password

2) the remote desktop has significant lag, hard to tell if delay is with viewing or the remote computer. But CPU usage is low.

 

If I quit the Jump Desktop client and reconnect all is fine.

  Very strange. Which version of macOS is running on your machine? Also for issue 2 - does it speed up after you use it for a bit?

  10.15.4 on both.

  Have never tried long enough as if laggy I just quit and restart.

  Will try it out tomorrow.

  Can send diagnostic logs if it would help ?

  Oddly since the last update it's not happened again. left it open for a couple of days and no issues.

   

  Perhaps it was PEBKAC :)

  Keep us posted if you hit it again.

  Also, there's no such thing as PEBKAC, only ITDRWN  (Issues That Don't Reoccur When Needed).
