Cannot type "space" with external keyboard

Hi

When connected to my windows machine via my iPad with either a USB keyboard or Bluetooth one i cannot get spacebar to type a space. I've had this problem with Microsoft Remote Desktop aswell. 

If its any use, i am using a nordic layout.

  I managed to solve it myself by just removing the English keyboard from my settings which some home made the spacebar work again.
