I have Windows 10 Home on both PCs. I connect about 5-15 times a day and this problem keeps happening every day or two. The only fix I have found is to restart the host PC, and as soon as the restart screen comes up it also shows up on Jump indicating that it isn't frozen anymore. When it happened the next time I tried closing some processes that I don't need but nothing changed. I had previously been using the remote program AnyDesk but uninstalled it after constantly having a similar problem, possibly caused by the same thing. If I close the connection then reconnect while this is happening, the screen works properly for about a second and then freezes. So the computers can still connect and communicate with each other, but for whatever reason the screen is frozen and no input can be sent. I could only find one result in the troubleshooting section possibly related to my problem however the solution requires Group Policy Editor which I don't have on the Home edition of Windows.
