forward + back mouse buttons

When using jump desktop between 2 windows 10 machines, the forward and back keys do not work. However, middle button and the custom mapped 5th button is fine.
The mouse is a logitech MX master. 
I tried mapping alt+arrow keys
but it does not give the same effect between windows and chrome as regular back and forth

  Hi,
   
  Currently, we support only the first 3 mouse buttons, not 4 and 5.
  We look forward on adding this feature soon.

  Please add possiblity to handle back and forward buttons. I am also using Logitech MX Master (3s).

  You can using the logi options app to create custom actions.  I remapped my forward/backward buttons to control + [ and control + ] (it may be windows + [ and ]).  I can't tell you which does what because I did it a while ago.  It works though.  Back button goes back a page, and forward button goes forward a page.
