    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out and for the detailed explanation—totally understand how frustrating that can be, especially when you're used to muscle memory!
To make sure macOS shortcuts like Cmd+Tab are passed through correctly to the remote Mac, please check the following:

Once you're connected to the remote machine, click on the Remote menu at the top of your screen, then make sure "Enable macOS Shortcuts" is checked. This setting ensures that common macOS shortcuts like Cmd+Tab are sent directly to the remote Mac.

    Thanks

    Oh thank you SO much!

For others who may get here, this solution eluded me for a couple of reasons.

    1) When you futz with the options, quit and restart Jump, that was one part.

    2) I also have so many other apps that mess with task switching. Once I shut them down, along with the above it worked!!

I am so thankful, it was driving me to drink... actually, now that's solved maybe I'll have a drink :P
    Truly, thanks.

Does Jumbo Desktop offer the ability to keep the cursor “stuck” on the remote computer, similar to what some virtualisation software offers, where you press a key to release the cursor and return to the host? Or how do I get my AltTab to work on the connected machine?

Edit: I just tested Option+Tab as previously indicated and it worked, but as the author said, it's crazy to have to remember that while connected the shortcut is different; muscle memory really gets in the way of this process. If there were a way to keep exactly the same shortcuts we use on the host machine while connected, that would be really interesting.
