Feature Request: Option to Quit Jump Desktop When the Last Window Is Closed
Could we please get an option for the Jump Desktop client to automatically quit when its last window is closed?
Many macOS apps already behave this way and I find myself really missing this option in Jump Desktop.
Use case:
I have a shortcut on my Mac that directly opens a remote connection. When I’m done and close the connection window, the Jump Desktop client remains open in the Dock with no active windows. It would be much cleaner and more convenient if the app could quit automatically when the final window is closed.
Since some users may prefer the current behavior, it would be ideal to make this configurable in the settings.
Thank you for considering this!

Hi,
Thanks for sharing this suggestion — it’s a thoughtful use case, and I can see how that behavior would streamline your workflow. I’ve passed your request along to our Development Team, and it’s currently being discussed internally. If we move forward with adding this as an option, we’ll be sure to update you.
Thanks again for the feedback!

Hi,
just checking in to see if there have been any updates after the internal discussion about this feature. No rush at all, I just wanted to mention again that an option to quit the app when the last window closes would be a really nice quality-of-life improvement for my workflow.
Thanks again, and appreciate you taking a look at this.
Best,
Martin
