Clarification Needed About Azure Endpoint Used by Jump Desktop

Hi Jump Desktop Support Team, I’m reaching out for clarification about a network endpoint I observed while using Jump Desktop. The application appears to reference the following URL: http://infineaiq.azurewebsites.net:443 Because this mixes HTTP with port 443 (normally used for HTTPS), I wanted to confirm whether this endpoint is officially part of Jump Desktop’s infrastructure. Could you please let me know: • Whether this hostname belongs to Jump Desktop • Whether it is expected for the client to contact this URL • Whether the correct endpoint should instead be using HTTPS I’m simply trying to ensure that my configuration is correct and that the connection is secure.   The Jump Desktop client (version 9.8.0 build 90804) is used on Apple iOS and iPadOS version 26.5 and was downloaded from the App Store.

  Hi Mark,

   

  This endpoint is used by an optional barcode scanner tool that Jump Desktop for iOS integrates with.  Specifically this line of barcode scanners: https://ipcmobile.com/.

   

  It is safe to permanently block this URL if you're not using that barcode scanner as it's not part of Jump's core functionality.
