Video playback issues / Mac
I'm having issues with stuttered / skipped frames on video playback when working on a remote machine. It tends to happen every 3-5 seconds where playback and audio has a hiccup, pauses and starts again. Also the entire screen will get super pixelated.
Both machines are ethernet hard wired with decent to very good connection speeds.
The playback issues happens regardless of whether I'm doing playback on the editing software or just playing a video with quicktime. Also, the remote machine has a good amount of RAM (more than needed to run the video editing software).
I turned on the Fluid Connection stats on the remote machine and the Ping and Packet Loss numbers go into the red every time the skipping happens.
Appreciate any input folks have!
Thanks-

I recommend taking a look at Fluid Connection Stats to see if there are packet loss / networking issues: https://changelog.jumpdesktop.com/live-performance-stats-for-fluid-1i0Xte
