Affinity Publisher Issues on Fluid Connection

Hi,

When I use Fluid to connect my iPad Air 4th gen to my Windows 11 PC, everything appears to work except for the application Affinity Publisher.

When I load Publisher, it shows the document area in the middle (see screenshot) but none of the menubars or toolbars. Super weird. I've tried logging in and out again, many different resolutions, high bandwidth/low bandwidth, always the same result.

 

It does work when I connect with RDP but I prefer Fluid.

Any ideas why this is happening?

  Hi Graham,

  Are you connecting to a headless machine? Seems like the graphics card might be turned off on the machine. To fix this, either open your laptop lid (if you're connecting to a laptop) or plug in a hdmi dummy display - just make sure the machine is connected to a physical display.

  Thanks, I will try using a headless display

  I have a monitor plugged in but it goes to sleep after a while and I think that basically means it doesn't engage the graphics card in the way Fluid needs
