Your Jump Desktop account supports 2 factor authentication which you can turn on in your Jump Desktop dashboard: https://app.jumpdesktop.com - Click the Security section here.
When enabling 2 Factor Authentication please make sure you save your backup codes. For non-Jump Desktop for Teams accounts there is no way for us to reset your account if you loose your 2FA device.
If you saved your backup codes, you can follow these steps to reset your 2FA:
- Sign in here: https://app.jumpdesktop.com
- When asked for 2 Step Verification click "I have a backup code" and sign in.
- Once you're signed in click Security on the top left. Then remove 2 Step Verification by clicking the three dots on the top right corner of the 2 Step Verification section and click Remove 2 Step Verification.
- Next, re-enabled 2 Step verification.
If you are a Jump Desktop for Teams customer:
An administrator from your team can reset your account MFA: Ask your Team administrator to sign in into your Team’s dashboard: https://app.jumpdesktop.com -> click your Team -> Users -> select the relevant user name here. In the 2 Step Verification section click the trash icon to reset your 2FA. You can then sign into your account and reinitialize your 2FA.
