Require Local Password or Local Approval
Is there anyway to require a password or local approval before remoting into a computer on my Jump account? Similar to teamviewer requiring a random password or approval before someone can logging in? For the sake of privacy, I want people I remote into to know I can only remote in when they are aware and approve. Thanks

Thanks. I have an account that has three computers available. When I open Jump, it lists those computers and if I click on the computer I connect and put in the local computer password which is always the same. Is there any way that when I double click on the computer it will ask the local station for approval or it would request a random password they would provide me. Its the same way that Teamviewer works. Thanks

You can’t do random password. However you can ask the local station for approval everytime: Click on the connection icon and when Jump asks you for Mac or Windows credentials, it should show you another button called ‘Ask to shared screen’ click that to prompt the local station for permission. you can also right click on a connection icon and click ‘Ask to share screen’ directly.

Thank you! Is there a way to require 'ask for shared screen'? Because otherwise it would let me in anyway. I'm just looking for privacy concerns on the local computers end. These computers are in people's homes and it'll make people feel safer knowing they need to approve before someone logs in. Thanks

It sounds like you have the password saved for the machine on your local client - this is why it's not prompting you for the password: Right click the computer's icon -> Edit -> Auto logon and remove the saved password. That's it after that when you try to connect, it will prompt you for the password or ask you to click the 'Ask to share screen' button.
