Updated: March 30th 2020
Jump Desktop 9.4.16 was released to the App Store on March 30th 2020 and it has full generic mouse support on iOS 13.4 with no limitations. Please update to iOS 13.4 and Jump Desktop iOS 9.4.16 to enjoy full mouse and trackpad support.
Older versions of Jump Desktop (pre 9.4.16) and pre iOS 13.4:
Jump Desktop for iOS has the ability to connect to a physical mouse on a stock iOS device. There are some limitations though - currently not all bluetooth mice are supported. Jump Desktop currently supports the following mice:
- Swiftpoint GT ($50 coupon inside the Jump Desktop app: 'Settings' -> 'Mouse & Gestures' -> 'Physical Mouse' to get the coupon)
- SwiftPoint ProPoint
- Citrix X1. (Update: Jan 24th 2020: Jump Desktop for iOS version 9.4.8 is now available on the App Store which fixes compatibility issues with newer models).
To start using the mouse with Jump Desktop make sure the mouse is paired to your iPad/iPhone by opening up the Settings -> Bluetooth. Then open up Jump and connect to your computer. Jump should automatically start working with your mouse.
To configure mouse options (sensitivity, swapping the left and right buttons), open up Jump and then then tap the settings icon on the top left and then Mouse & Gestures -> Physical Mouse . Alternatively you can also change these options while you're connected to the remote computer by tapping the tool icon on at the top and then tapping the Physical Mouse row.
Citrix X1 users: You don't need to have any Citrix apps installed on your iPad / iPhone to use the Citrix X1 mouse with Jump. The X1 will simply work with Jump.
