Mac: Observe mode

Jump Desktop for Mac now features a new Observe mode, which allows you to watch remote computer activity without sending any keyboard or mouse inputs. This mode is particularly useful when you want to observe someone else's actions on the remote computer without taking control. This article will guide you on how to enable and toggle Observe mode in Jump Desktop for Mac.

Using Observe Mode during a Remote Session:

If you've already established a remote connection and wish to switch to Observe mode during the session, follow these steps:

1. Connect to the remote computer using Jump Desktop
2. Once connected, click on the Remote menu in the top menu bar
3. From the drop-down menu, select Observe Only to enable Observe mode

Starting a Remote Session in Observe mode:

This setting ensures that each remote connection you establish will automatically start in Observe mode by default.

1. Launch the Jump Desktop application on your Mac
2. Click on the Settings option in the top menu bar
3. Ensure that the Start in Observe mode checkbox is selected
