On macOS Ventura or later, Jump Desktop Connect requires permissions to run in the background. If you're seeing a message where Jump Desktop Connect can't get past the 'Initializing...' message please follow the steps below to fix this.
- Open System Preferences app.
- Click General -> Login Items.
- In the Allow in Background section make sure PhaseFive Systems has permission to run in the background as shown below.
The following Initializing message is shown after a reboot if Jump Desktop Connect isn't allowed to run in the background:
