Jump Desktop supports multiple protocols to connect to a machine: RDP, VNC and Fluid. If you see the message 'The remote computer does not support the requested service', it means that you're trying to connect to a computer using a protocol that's been explicitly disabled in the Connect app on the remote computer. To fix this you can do either of the following (you:
- On the remote computer: Enable the protocol in Jump Desktop Connect. To enable the protocol, open up Jump Desktop Connect on the remote computer, click the settings icon and then click Advanced. Then make sure the protocol you're using to connect is CHECKED.
OR
- On your local machine: Open up the Jump Desktop app and simply delete the connection icon for the connection.
