The article doesn't specify, where, on which computer, the setting (item 1) is located. The Remote Desktop setting on your local MS Windows computer controls only connection to that computer. The article doesn't explain, how to turn off the setting on the remote computer, if you can't access the remote computer via RDP in the first place because of the issue.

Tried every variant of the above in terms of user names etc after unchecking NLA but no joy connecting via RDP jump to Azure setup machine.

    Any other suggestions?

This just does not work, tried every combination possible! It works fine with Microsoft Remote Desktop on iPad so this just needs sorting out, app deleted for now!
