USB redirection lets you share USB devices connected to your computer with the remote machine during a Fluid Remote Desktop session, so the device behaves as if it were plugged directly into the host.
If Jump Desktop sent you to this article, you tried to redirect a USB device that isn't included with your current plan. Here's what each plan can redirect.
Game controllers — included on every plan
Game controllers can be redirected on all plans, at no extra cost. There's nothing to upgrade — just connect your controller and redirect it from the Devices menu during a Fluid Remote Desktop session.
All other USB devices — Jump Desktop for Teams Enterprise
Redirecting any other USB device — such as webcams, printers, storage drives, security keys, smart-card readers and specialist hardware — requires a Jump Desktop for Teams Enterprise subscription, with Jump Desktop 10 on the computer you're connecting from.
To redirect these devices you'll need:
- A Jump Desktop for Teams Enterprise subscription.
- Jump Desktop 10 installed on the device you're connecting from.
- A host running a version of Jump Desktop Connect that supports USB redirection.
